ARCHITECTURAL INTEGRATION |
The application of the new building technical code states it is mandatory to incorporate systems that make use of the thermal aspect of solar energy for sanitary hot water for all new buildings, as well as making use of photovoltaic conversion for the industrial sector (large commercial areas, factories, hotels, hospitals, etc.)
One of the main problems when applying this new decree is the architectural integration of the panels to the design of all new buildings.
|
The 4 main aspects to take into account when beginning a project are:
|
| 1- Sizing of the solar system; the minimum collection surface is approximately 0,50 m² per person for buildings housing several families (this criteria only represents 30% of the global thermal needs). For single-family homes 1m² per person is recommended. |
2- Building orientation

Orientation and placement of the solar panels and tank, as well as the chosen auxiliary system. |
3- Shadow effects

Study of the shadows created by new elements and/or existing shadows created by the environment |
4- Drawing up of the HE4 (CTE) form
Presentation of the technical documents as a project, the report, the HE4 sheet, etc. essential to document the architectural project.
